FROM ARTSAKH TO FRANCE: Artsakh State Dance Ensemble departed to France on June 3, for participation in the celebration of the 80th jubilee of the "Artsiv" Youth Union in Marceilles, according to Noyan-Tapan. The ensemble will also perform in Paris, Valance, Grenoble and Lyons. This dance ensemble of Artsakh participated in the International Choreographic Art Festival in France last July, as well.

HUGE PRIZES FOR VIOLINISTS: The International Competition of Violinists after Aram Khachaturyan will be held in Yerevan through Sunday.

Violinists aged 16-32 from Armenia, the United States and other countries will participate in the competition. First prize receives $15,000; second, $10,000; third, $5,000.

FIRST EXHIBITION: 168 paintings by Aram Ivanyan, a member of the Armenian Astghik organization of disabled children, will be exhibited in Lyon and Marseille (Frence), Armenpress reported on June 3.

Rosa Bashinyan  the chairwoman of The Armenian-French Association of Disabled People, said sells of the paintings will be used for construction of Hope Shelter Center, run by Astghik.
