A book about a painter
The quite compact storage of modern Armenian fine arts has recently been enriched by a new volume. A book created by Nelli Shanazarian titled "Valmar: Artist with Music Presiding in his Salon", is devoted to the paintings of artist Valmar.

The book contains echoes of the artist's 30 year creative work: newspaper articles, analyses, interviews and opinions.

Valmar has had 36 individual exhibitions abroad and participated in 156 group exhibitions. Collectors worldwide have his work.

About Valmar, Shahnazarian wrote: "Valmar does not imagine his life without seeing the Biblical mountain, moreover drawing. It is a source of inspiration, like a handful of Armenian soil necessary as a parent, without which the artist does not imagine his mornings and evenings, and draws at the call of heart and soul, as well as out of sense of duty."
